The brake pad is attached to the caliper body and not to the
piston in order to avoid high tangential load on the piston when the
brake is closed.
Wear indicator available as a standard in the basic configuration.
Available in direct applied hydraulic style as well.

Smart Brakes.

The Smart Brakes
were designed for use in rotor-printing machines for newspaper. They
mount one brake on each free roll on the machine.
The brake acts directly on the cylinder
base, where they fix with screws a plate in order to avoid wear of
the cylinder..
The brake is used especially when the
paper is broken, so they switch off the machine and the rolls stop
immediately without consuming a lot of paper due to inertia.
Available in direct applied hydraulic style as well.
Anti-corrosion version available for outdoors applications.
